MEET THE CAMPBELL RACING TEAM
WAYLAND CAMPBELL
Wayland Campbell has proven his abilities as a driver, competitor and teammate from rock crawling, short course, desert and Ultra4 racing. These things have earned him the recognition as DirtSports Rookie of the Year, Offroad Hall of Fame-Rising Star and Impact awards, several wins and Championships.
Growing up Wayland was taught that honesty, hard work and dedication were the keys to ”best” not only his fellow racers but his own achievements as well. Learning this past year that victory comes and goes, giving up is not an option and quitting will get you nowhere. Racing isn’t just about driving, its about knowing your machine inside and out so you can take it to the edge of destruction without failure.
Besides racing, Wayland works full time and is raising two amazing little boys, River(5yr) and Kash (3yr). When there is downtime, you can find him at the BMX track chasing strider bikes or the 3 of them out in his General getting in some trail time.
Campbell is rolling into his 13th year of racing and leaving a mark in the offroad world.
BAILEY CAMPBELL
Bailey Campbell has been a part of the off-road community her whole life. As she got old enough to start competing, she had to prove that she was willing to turn a wrench at the family shop and learn the ins/outs of the competition rigs. By doing so, Campbell has become a major asset by expanding her abilities on the racetrack and in the shop by preparing her own car, which many forget the basics of being a great racecar driver is knowing what you are driving.
Now, Bailey has been competing in a male dominated sport with top drivers for the past 13 years and has without a doubt shown her determination and dedication raising a little family of her own and taking herself to the next level. For the past few seasons, Bailey has been taking podium finishes, became the first woman in the 4400 class to lead King of the Hammers, Iron womaned her first race of 560+ Miles and has proudly been sitting behind the wheel as a Ford Performance athlete for the Rebelle Rally and the Score International Baja 1000 since 2023.
